Experience. Ms. Daurio obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2001 and her Bachelor of Laws degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2004. She was called to the bar of Ontario in 2005 and is a member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario (previously named the Law Society of Upper Canada).
Ms. Daurio completed her Articles with the Office of the Children's Lawyer and subsequently worked as a lawyer for a Children's Aid Society for eleven years before entering private practice.
Ms. Daurio is currently a panel lawyer for the Office of the Children's Lawyer, she has presented at programs hosted by the Law Society of Ontario, has moderated panels at conferences regarding the practice of family law and was elected to the Board of Directors of the York Region Law Association for five (5) years (2012-2017).
Ms. Daurio has appeared at various levels of court in Toronto, Newmarket, Oshawa, Lindsay, Peterborough, Cobourg and Belleville.
Compassion. Ms. Daurio truly cares about her clients' experiences, and provides legal representation with a view to resolving family law issues in a cost-effective and wholistic manner. Ms. Daurio is mindful of the impact family law and escalating conflict can have on various relationships in her clients' lives, including their children, former spouses and extended family.
